Beloved Community,
As I make my way back from Germany, I am contemplating how to inspire engagement with our monthly theme: What If? What kind of world could we build together if we truly believed anything was possible? How do the 200+ beloveds, who call NVC their spiritual home, imagine a world where it is the norm to reveal the power of love?
It’s natural that in a period of challenge, imagination falls to the bottom of priorities. As we face individual and communal hardship, experience scarcity and change, people focus on efficiency, practical deliverables and getting things done. And yet, our imagination can be incredibly helpful to discover new ways of being with each other, of getting things done, and relevant in discovering different paths forward. I believe in the power of our collective imagination! Look what a marvelous community we have imagined and created!
