Our vision at NVC is “Revealing the Power of Love,” and Foster Alliance’s vision is: “Every child on the foster care journey thrives. Always.” They fit together beautifully, don’t they?
In 2023, the Foster Alliance served nearly 4,800 children in our area. In 2024, that number soared to over 8,632—a staggering 80% increase in foster children needing support.
Nearly 40% of foster children experience more than two placement changes each year—three different homes annually. These constant disruptions make it hard for kids to feel secure and cared for. Foster Alliance is working to change that by providing essential items to toddlers ages 1–6, the most vulnerable age group. Your donation can help create lasting homes and brighter futures and we know all the items collected here are also filled with love and the knowledge that these kids matter. Stop by the Outreach Table or email outreach@newvisioncsl.org to learn how you can help.
AND – not necessarily or but AND…
The government shutdown has significantly impacted food banks in the Phoenix area, leading to a surge in demand for food assistance. Local food banks are facing unprecedented demand, with some running out of supplies early. You can make a difference by donating non-perishable food items to help meet this urgent need. This request is an "AND" to the project for Foster Alliance that Outreach is supporting. Let’s step up to the plate knowing there is enough and we can join together to help ensure no one goes hungry.
The needs are great in our area. Outreach invites you to help in multiple ways:
The greatest need? Toddlers. Supplies for this age group fly off the shelves faster than they can be restocked. That’s where we come in! As our final project of the year, NVC Outreach is collecting essential items to support these children and the families who welcome them with open arms. We are collecting:

Let’s fill the box with love—because every child deserves to know they matter!
