As we prepare to celebrate the beautiful life of Rev. Kathryn McDowell (January 21, 1951 – February 5, 2026), our hearts are filled with both gratitude and tenderness.

Rev. Kathryn was beloved by so many at New Vision Center and throughout the Centers for Spiritual Living community. As our Adult Education Director for many years, she guided, mentored, and inspired countless students. She was funny, kind, and wonderfully prone to gregarious mischief. We will deeply miss her radiant smile, her contagious laughter, and her generous hugs.

To help us honor her life at her Celebration of Life on March 8th, we are inviting you to share your photographs — moments with Rev. Kathryn, candid snapshots, teaching memories, joyful gatherings, and all the beautiful ways she showed up in your life. These photos will be lovingly woven into a tribute that reflects the many facets of the remarkable woman we knew and loved.

If you have photos you’d be willing to share, please send them at your earliest convenience so they may be included in the celebration.  We need to have them ideally by February 26th.
